My sketch uses the elements of line and value.  Line because there are lines indicating the shape of the volcano, and some are used to indicate life around the volcano.  Value because it shows the depth of the volcano in its opening and the darker and lighter clouds as well as different sides of the volcano, and where light hits it.  From the principles it uses emphasis and proportion.  Emphasis because the sketch features a volcano, and proportion because of size differences within the landscape.
